Grace's Journey with Honey Pride
Grace is a farmer partner from Madi-Okollo in Arua district. She joined the Honey Pride programme in 2019 and the skills training she received gave her the confidence and practical knowledge to manage her own apiary.
Before joining, Grace faced significant challenges in providing for her family. Beekeeping gave her a reliable and sustainable income source. Starting with just a few hives, she has grown her operation steadily under Honey Pride's guidance.
Grace has become a champion for women's participation in beekeeping in her community — demonstrating that with the right training and market access, women farmers can build thriving agricultural enterprises.
